ASSOCIATION ACTIVITIES – 2016-2017
On 4th July 2016, Department of commerce with computer applications has conducted Department seminar in the forenoon session on the topic ”Empowering Women” by Mrs.Brindha Ashok,National trainer of JCI and “Motivational Talk” by Muralidharan, Retired Army officer at afternoon.
On 30th July 2016, Department of commerce with computer applications has conducted various extracurricular activities like Mock-AD,Product launch and Rangoli.
On 10th August 2016, Department of commerce with computer applications has conducted a department seminar in the forenoon session on the topic “Recent Trent in Indian Banking”by Mr.Anand,Manager and Mr.Augustin ,Assistant manager of Karur Vysha Bank,Tirupur Main Branch and “An overview of Income-Tax” by CA.Harish, Partner of YS Associates at afternoon.
On 20th Oct 2016, Department of commerce with computer applications has conducted Career guidance Program for PG students on the topic “Business Analytics” by Mr.R.S Vignesh,senior engineer in livewire,CADD centre training services (P) ltd corporate office, Chennai.
On 6th March 2017, Department of commerce with computer applications has conducted a department seminar on the topic “HAI GIRLS”-Health and Hygiene in Girls by JC.R.Sandhiya Premanand,National Trainer,Gobi and Dr,K.Sathyakala senthilnathan MBBS.,DIAB Tirupur.

On 05.07.2017, Department of commerce with computer applications, inaugurated its activities for the year. Tmt, Uma Maheshwari, Motivational speaker was the chief guest.
On 25.07.2017, Department of commerce with computer applications, conducted a seminar on the topic, “GST”. Mr.A.Selvaraj CA was the resource person for the seminar.
On 27.02.2018, Department of commerce with computer applications has organized a seminar on Union Budget 2018-19. Mr.N.Nanda Gopal CA, has elaborated the session with various highlights.

SESHASAYEE PAPER AND BOARDS LIMITED
The name of the institution is seshasayee paper and Boards limited. It was started in 1960.The Institution has 2 Units.1st Unit in Erode and other Unit in Thirunelveli. It is also known as Integrated pulp and Paper Industry. In Thirunelveli Unit , the production was nearly 200 Tons. In Erode Unit, the production was 350 tons per day. The Raw materials are mainly used was wood and sugarcane Waste. Wood, Steam, Electricity, Water and Human Resources are some of the requirements of Paper Production.The Institution’s Export to Sri lanka, South Africa, America, Haryana etc., The main types of Paper is produce here for Writing, Printing, Posture, Paper Cup and so on.

Nearly 151 students including UG 96 and PG 38 students are accompanied by three(3) staffs were went to visited the manufacturing concern dated at 22nd June 2018. We are thankful to the management for offering us a Trip to learn. The Students are very much interested and benefited through this Industrial Visit.

4. on 3rd July 2018 , Department of Commerce with Computer Applications has conducted the seminar in the forenoon session on the topic “ INVOICE BILL, E-WAY BILL, INPUT TAX CREDIT “ by Mr K.C.Senthil Kumar FCA, Auditor in Profession.
5. on 4th July 2018 , Department of Commerce with Computer Applications has conducted the seminar in the forenoon session on the topic “ TIME AND PLACE OF SUPPLY” by Mrs.CA. M. Preetha FCA, Auditor in profession , and in the afternoon session on the topic “IMPACT ON GST” by Mr .CA.V.Gopalan B.com FCA, Chairman of ICAI Tirupur Branch , Tirupur.
